Publisher monetisation startup Publift has been appointed the programmatic and digital agency for Australia’s largest free independent stock market trading forum for ASX investors, Hotcopper.
Publift, which is headed-up by two ex-Google executives, CEO Colm Dolan and COO Tobin Page, offers ad serving, programmatic channel management, native ad strategy, remnant ad optimisation as well as implementation and training.
HotCopper joins a list of growing Publift clients including WillyWeather, OzBargain, MetService NZ and Conversant Media – among others.
CEO at Publift Colm Dolan said the surge of recent wins has helped bolster the company in a competitive marketplace. The new business has also enabled the Sydney-based firm to staff up – hiring two new execs this month – taking the team to five.
“Publishers often come to us because they are unsure on which advertising technology platform to implement, lack of skills, dev resources & low remnant CPM,” Dolan said.
“We’ve been really confident of our offering in the ad tech space as we know that what we do is different to what’s out there.
“We’re independent so can be 100% transparent and feel there is plenty of opportunity for a business like ours.”
Managing director at HotCopper, Greg Darcy, said, “Publift is a young dynamic company with really skilled individuals.
“Their proven experience in this niche area and ability to offer independent advice were the key factors in bringing them over the line”.
