The Olivia Newton-John Centre and the Austin Health Foundation has partnered with Ntegrity to transform their annual Walk for Wellness into an event that will remember Dame Olivia Newton-John, and support those with cancer.

Debbie Shiell, foundation director at the Austin Health Foundation, which is home to the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre, said: “This year, the walk will be a chance to reflect on Olivia’s amazing legacy while raising money for people living with cancer.

“It will be a day of love and positivity! Just as Olivia would have wanted.”

The year’s event will ask walkers to “bring love and light to those with cancer.” This concept was extremely meaningful to so many people especially to those at the Olivia Newton-John Centre.

“Love & light” is how Olivia used to sign all her autographs to encourage everyone to stay positive and share kindness.

Now, that exact message will be used to encourage people to bring joy, hope and light to those with cancer.

Kyle Vermeulen, creative director at Ntegrity, said: “Olivia brought such positive energy into the world, both through her work and to everyone she met. It was important to bring that energy into this year’s event.

“It’s been a privilege to work closely with Austin Health to play a small part in continuing Olivia’s legacy.”

The Austin Health Foundation and The ONJ Centre encourage everyone to register for the event, fundraise, and help honour Olivia’s life and work.

The event will use Sydney-based fundraising platform Raisely’s newly-released ticketing feature, allowing attendees to seamlessly purchase tickets for the event and create their fundraising page.

Walk for Wellness will help fund the programs at the Olivia Newton-John Centre and ensures that people with cancer are able to thrive through their diagnosis.
