Brand activation agency The Zoo has been appointed by Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products as its promotional licensing agency in Australia.
The Zoo will be responsible for promotions for the consumer products division in Australia and New Zealand.
The agency will take on film promotions for Ice Age and Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and TV promotions for The Simpsons, Modern Family, Glee, Sons of Anarchy and Family Guy.
Bob Bacon, vice president of Asia Pacific at Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products, said: “Fox has had a successful promotional relationship with The Zoo throughout various divisions at the studio and we now look forward to working with them in this new capacity to increase promotional opportunities for our programs.”
David Lo, CEO of The Zoo, added: “We are excited about Fox’s portfolio and the opportunities we know exist in the Australian market. After our merger in 2012 with sister agency Digital Stampede, the opportunity to deliver increased value and engagement by interacting more powerfully through technology has never been greater.
“The Zoo now has the dual benefit of being able to introduce brands to some of the world’s biggest movie and television properties and build the campaign as well.”
