Nine’s Love Child kept up with its debut episode last week with 1.255 million viewers tuning in at 8.40pm last night for the second episode, according to OzTam preliminary ratings.

These viewers helped push Love Child to second place as the most watched show last night, however wasn’t enough to bring Nine to victory as Seven nabbed the highest total combined share.

Last week’s debut episode of Love Child saw 1.354 million viewers tuning in, only slightly more than last night's episode.

Seven’s Revenge at 8.45pm last night nabbed the last place in the top ten shows, bringing in 937,000 viewers.

While the second episode of Revenge saw slightly less people settling back in their couches, its 762,000 viewers helped bring the network to first place in total share.

Seven’s My Kitchen Rules (MKR) smashed the two million viewer mark last night with 2.124 million, making it the most watched show last night and beating out its competition in the 7.30pm timeslot.

Nine’s catch up episode of The Block at 7.30pm last night scraped over a million viewers as 1.079 million tuned in to see how the beginnings of the bathroom transformations went.

Seven and Nine battled it out for the most total combined share last night, with the top ten shows last night only being from those networks.

Seven eventually came out on top with a total share of 35.4%, with 28.4% of that going to its primary station.

Nine grabbed a total share of 30.7% as 23.8% went to its main station.

ABC came in third last night as its 8pm show Australian Story: Call me Cate about an Army officer’s gender change raked in 769,000 viewers.

Where yesterday saw 6.4% the lowest rating for Ten’s main channel since the introduction of OzTam, last night didn’t fare much better as Ten scraped 12.2% of the total share, 6.8% going to its primary channel.

Neighbours was the most watched multi-channel show last night on Ten’s station Eleven, bringing in 290,000 viewers for the network.

SBS came fifth with 3.6%, 2.9% of that going to its primary channel SBS One.
