Sky TV is encouraging customer’s to choose to have their Sky bill sent via email rather than mail through a TVC introducing Lloyd, an interesting envelope-licking character.
The ‘Meet Lloyd’ spot introducers the character who spends his entire day licking envelopes fro Sky’s billing department.
Director Damien Shatford, from the Sweet Shop, and creative agency DDB Auckland are behind the campaign.
Shatford said: “Finding Lloyd was an interesting task. We kept the casting brief wide and the auditions organic. I knew the right Lloyd needed to be likeable. He needed a set of unique affectations that would create a naturally comedic performance. I watched a lot of fully grown men lick envelopes.”
