Digital content marketing agency, King Content, has jumped on the Asia-Pacific expansion train and launched an office in Singapore.

The new office has been established to service the agency’s new clients Prudential, McDonald’s PacNet and IBM.

Craig Hodges (pictured), chief executive of King Content, said: “Because content marketing is an emerging discipline, many of our clients in Australia wanted similar services for their business in Asia which opened our eyes to the opportunity and potential.”

Peter Bakker, the founder of Singapore-based publishing services company Immedia, will head up the new agency as commercial director.

Bakker, who was previously publisher of Travel + Leisure magazine in Australia, will be joined by Peter Chai as editorial manager.

Chai has been a sub-editor at Fairfax magazines and foreign correspondent for film industry title, Variety.

A group Singapore-based freelancers I being built to service King Content’s Singapore clients.
