Ikon voted Australia's seventh most innovative company

The votes have been tallied and Ikon Communications has won a place among the top 10 on BRW’s list of Australia’s 30 Most Innovative Companies.

Ikon came seventh in the list which was led by ClickView, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Blue Chilli, Coca-Cola, Skybridge and Buzz.

Dan Johns, national chief executive of Ikon Communications, said: “This recognises innovation across our business; from our founding principles to the best social and mobile campaigns in the world; from our focus on culture to our unique approach to negotiations; from NZ to Brisbane, to Sydney to Melbourne to Adelaide to Perth.”

“It celebrates everything we do and everyone who does it.”

As B&T reported in late November, Starcom also made its way onto the list and has since claimed 22nd place on the roll call of 30.

Starcom made its way onto the list with its new operating model, Experience Creation Framework, while Ikon was recognised for its mobile gaming campaign ‘Fanta Playzone’.
