Former BWM creative duo return to the fold

Creative duo Sean Lavery and Kevin MacNamara have returned to the BWM team.

The agency boosted its creative department by three, also appointing New Zealand-born Chris Boyd, who worked in the UK for TribalDDB, Publicis and VCCP London before moving Down Under in 2011.

Lavery and MacNamara both held senior roles on the Telstra BigPond account at BWM from 2004 to 2006.

Since 2006, they worked together at Clemenger BBDO, then did a mix of agency and freelance work. MacNamara was creative director at The Works for nearly two years and Lavery freelanced at Droga5, including a six-month stint as creative director.

Lavery and MacNamara have been appointed senior creatives, and Boyd has been appointed senior art director.

Rob Belgiovane, executive creative director, said: “With BWM continuing to expand, we are thrilled to have brought back some familiar faces, plus a new face into the creative department. Our creative team is a great combination of talent.”

Rocky Ranallo, creative director at BWM, added: “These three guys will be great contributors to the creative products of BWM. They have all proven themselves and are a perfect fit with BWM’s culture.”
