EXCLUSIVE: Two days after David Jones confirmed the launch of a creative review, B&T can reveal which agencies are vying for the business.
Agencies understood to be pitching for the lucrative retail account include Clemenger BBDO, Whybin\TBWA, DDB, Host and Moon Communications.
Incumbent M&C Saatchi yesterday confirmed it too would be contesting the account it has held for almost three years.
B&T also understands that Saatchi & Saatchi, which managed the account for 13 years prior to M&C Saatchi’s tenure, has not thrown its hat in the ring for the business.
Moon Communications currently handles creative for shopping complex chain, Westfield, which houses David Jones stores around Australia.
Visual Jazz currently handles David Jones’ digital account while Carat is its media agency of record. Neither account is up for tender.
M&C was responsible for the retailer's latest Autumn/Winter 2013 fashion collection campaign featuring Miranda Kerr (below).
