30 Under 30 Winner, Chloe Saintilan, Releases Hype Womxn Newsletter

from the mind of R/GA New York’s Chloe Saintilan, Hype Womxn is a newsletter for young professional womxn, with insights from some of the industry’s most-respected and erudite women professionals.

In 2017, Saintilan picked up the B&T 30 Under 30 award in the ‘Creative’ category. Now the co-founder of Merch Aid and associate creative director of R/GA New York, she’s released her latest project, the newsletter Hype Womxn.

A digital publication that features an exclusive interview with a leading womxn in every issue, Hype Womxn is a newsletter for university graduates and young professional womxn.

The newsletter aims to be a “career cheerleader” and “mentorship coffee date” in newsletter form, Saintilan says, with one inspiring interview per issue (and other bits and bobs).

“Navigating your career ain’t easy, and let’s just say we all know 2020 has added a whole suite of new challenges,” Saintilan writes of her newsletter. “It’s natural to feel a little uninspired and anxious. And Hype Womxn is here to be a small antidote to that.”

Having interviewed Bauer/Hearst general manager of Marina Go in her first issue, and with Cindy Gallop lined up for the second, Hype Womxn provides essential advice for young women.

“What’s always inspired me and helped me in my own career are the conversations I’ve had with amazing womxn leaders who have been generous enough to lend their time and share advice (many of which I met through B&T’s events),” Saintilan tells B&T.

“I’m a strong believe in the ‘see it, be it’ philosophy, and with networking and conferences out the window for the time being, especially in the US where I’m based, I wanted to deliver that same inspiration in a new way that can reach anyone who needs it.”

Along with an incredibly expansive portfolio, including projects for Mercedes-Benz, Neutrogena and Tourism New Zealand, Saintilan is the co-founder of Merch Aid.

Merch Aid is a non-profit platform that helps small businesses forced to close or significantly alter their business model due to the COVID-19 pandemic, by giving locals a new way to support them.

Hailing from Sydney, Saintilan is currently an Associate Creative Director at R/GA NY and cofounder of non-profit initiative Merch Aid.

She is also passionate about advocating for gender equality in advertising, having previously drawn attention to the lack of women in the industry halls of fame.
