WPP’s Wunderman Thompson has announced it will be expanding the roles of Nick Muncaster (left in main photo) and Paulina Embart (right), who will now be given a wider range of responsibilities in the agency.

Some important changes in key leadership positions were made by the Australian branch of the marketing agency Wunderman Thompson earlier today, as the company announced that it will giving promotions to two of its most important members in the east coast.

More specifically, Nick Muncaster, who’s been working as managing director of Melbourne, will see his role expanded to include the Sydney offices, while Paulina Embart will be promoted to the position of general manager of Melbourne.

Muncaster began working with the agency back in 2019 from the position of general manager. His efforts were rewarded almost two-and-a-half years later, when he was given the position of managing director for the company’s Melbourne offices, with this recent promotion serving as further proof of his work ethic.

Embart first joined Wunderman Thompson in 2015 as a group account director. She rose rapidly through the business taking lead as Penfolds global business director before stepping into her most recent role as national director of operations.

Matt Parry, CEO Wunderman Thompson recognises the positive impact the two have had on the agency. “We have exceptional talent across the company. In their roles, Nick and Paulina have created real momentum and inspired step change growth for our clients and the Wunderman Thompson business. I can’t think of two individuals better placed to take up bigger leadership positions.”

Muncaster added: “Paulina brings an incredible passion and energy that has been an integral part of our business success over the years. She is results orientated, strategically smart, tech-savvy, embraces creativity and possesses amazing problem-solving skills. I’m very fortunate to work with so many talented and wonderful people and in this instance to have such a complementary partnership with someone that shares the same ambition for our business and clients is simply incredible.”

Embart said: “It’s such an exciting time to be stepping into this role. I’m humbled to be able to continue working closely with our incredible team and honoured to partner with all our wonderful clients. Being part of a business that helps ambitious brands align around purpose and make a meaningful contribution to unlock their growth potential is pretty special and I’m ready to hit go.”
