WE Communications Australia Expands Its Health Client Portfolio And Team

WE Communications has announced the expansion of its health client portfolio and team of health communications specialists. The expansion has come from organic growth and new wins from clients, including AbbVie, Janssen, Camurus and Viatris.

WE has expanded its relationship with clients AbbVie and Janssen. Following competitive pitches with both clients, WE has won additional work in the disease awareness / patient empowerment and corporate reputation space, focusing on digital execution.

New clients have also chosen WE to join their agency roster, including Swedish biopharmaceutical company Camurus selected WE as its communications partner to support a Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) listing. As well as, Viatris, Global healthcare company, who have chosen WE as its agency of record to provide corporate reputation support across Australia.

WE’s health sector in Australia represents a growing portion of the agency’s business, with its health work expanding by 86% in the last 12 months. WE’s health client partnerships in Australia span consumer health, pharmaceuticals, biotech, healthcare services and digital health, including AstraZeneca, Bayer, Hearing Australia, ICON Cancer Care, Seqirus and Vaxxas, among others.

To address the growing work within health, three new members have joined WE’s team of health communications specialists: Clare Davies, senior account director, Jared Croft, account executive and Yichen Liu, account coordinator. Melissa Quinon has also been promoted to account manager.
