While the biggest Amazon news of the day is no doubt Jeff Bezos’s decision to step down as CEO, the tech giant has also released its latest Super Bowl spot.
The ad, which is for Amazon’s voice activated virtual assistant Alexa, features Hollywood heartthrob Michael B. Jordan.
And it certainly plays on Jordan’s status as a sex symbol, as it navigates the story of a woman flirting with Alexa – played by Jordan – much to the bemusement of her husband.
Highlights include her asking Alexa to add bath oils to the shopping list and asking Jordan to translate “you are the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen” into French.
You can see the video here.
Jordan also manages to promote his upcoming film in the campaign, with a bus ad for Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse displayed early on.
