Former Eyeota Commercial Director Andrew Gilbert Lands Role At Verizon Media

Verizon Media has announced the appointment of Andrew Gilbert to the role of head of platform sales Australia and New Zealand.

Gilbert will be responsible for driving the adoption of Verizon Media’s innovative and impactful omnichannel DSP for the region, overseeing enterprise sales and service. The appointment is effective immediately, with Gilbert reporting to director of platforms, John McNerney.

With nine years of marketing technology and advertising experience, Gilbert joins Verizon Media from Eyeota where he was the commercial director of Australia and New Zealand. Prior to this, he held a number of senior commercial roles across a number of marketing technology companies including director of sales ANZ at Integral Ad Science (IAS), digital marketing manager of data, performance and search at Vodafone Australia, and digital performance manager at Ikon Communications.

Verizon Media director of platforms John McNerney said in a statement: “Verizon Media DSP is part of Verizon Media Platforms suite of enterprise tools. We’re dedicated to building a team that supports this customer-centric technology that empowers our clients. We’re excited to have Andrew join the team armed with an impressive background in data-driven marketing and look forward to the input and value he will add to our business and team.”
