Cinema advertiser Val Morgan has announced new appointments to its Brandfit Team; Clare Whiteman as strategy manager and Sammy Dalglish as marketing manager.
Whiteman joins Val Morgan from Seven Affiliate Sales where she oversaw the Sydney Sport and Integration Department. Previously she worked for Southern Cross Austereo and Network Ten in Brisbane. Sammy Dalglish comes from a mixture of agency and client-sides roles, most recently as the head of marketing for the Anytime Fitness franchise.
Vale Morgan managing director Daniel Hill commented: “Clare’s strength is sales and integration means she understands what it takes to deliver great media sales strategies for her clients.”
Cally Scivetti, the head of Brandfit’s strategy unit said: “Sammy has extensive marketing knowledge, with a passion for everything digital. Her skills will help us further develop our digital and social strategy across the Val Morgan business.”
Whiteman said of here appointment: “I’m really excited about joining Val Morgan. Cinema is a really engaging advertising channel and I look forward to working with the whole team.”
Sammy Dalglish added:“The scope of my role is very interesting; I’m really looking forward to some exciting new projects we’ll be introducing to the business over the next 12 months.”
Cinema has reported a record start to 2015 with bookings growing 10% to $6.8 million according to SMI figures.
