A new campaign has been released to promote The Portfolio Project, an initiative that assists young jobseekers in Disability Services Australia’s Transition to Work program by involving them with ‘hands on’ work on new business briefs in the advertising industry.

The project is a joint initiative with Sydney firm GWF Creative and Disability Services Australia.

The message behind the campaign according to co-founder Richard Kahotea is “creativity can unlock the pathway into a creative career regardless of who you are, whatever your circumstances or wherever you come from. Ideas can change the world”.

Duncan Mah, another co-founder, added: “It’s amazing how these very talented young people turned the tables on what from the outset, would look like something completely unachievable, to win two awards in under a year.

“This is what the project is about, building confidence through creativity as a platform with real tangible results that showcases talent.”

The campaign will be rolled out on social media and online initially.
