IMAX’s official YouTube page accidentally posted a trailer for Tom Cruise’s The Mummy reboot that had the wrong audio attached. Much of the sound effects were stripped away, all that was left is a bunch of grunts and screams.

The dodgy audio trailer was quickly taken down, but unfortunately for IMAX the internet never forgets or forgives- multiple copies of the trailer have been uploaded and distributed across social media.

Check out the trailer:

Twitter:

“Almost finished that Mummy IMAX trailer, boss.”
“All the audio tracks are there?”
“I think? Maybe?”
“Maybe’s fine.”https://t.co/1VdacQzLiZ

Not gonna lie I would watch that new mummy movie if the audio was actually like that trailer all the way through.

I get having a trailer with incomplete audio, but why would it ever be uploaded to YouTube? Starting to think this Mummy thing was planned ?

The accidental IMAX upload of The Mummy trailer without sound effects is amazing and this Tom Cruise screen is DEFINITELY the best part pic.twitter.com/IdDgZSn1tg

Dear IMAX corporation. If you show “The Mummy” like this in its entirety, I’ll pay to see it at least five times. https://t.co/UOoW35oST3
