The Hot Contenders To Take Over From Lisa Wilkinson’s Project Reign

Lisa Wilkinson shocked everyone on Sunday when she announced she was leaving The Project, and now we must find out who is replacing her!

So, who will be taking her place? Well, that remains to be seen. But, of course, here at B&T, we have our completely unverified opinions. Sadly, no one at network 10 would give us the scoop.

Grimshaw!

Tracy Grimshaw, no one loves Grimshaw more than the B&T team. She tracks down dodgy tradies like a hound and rouses on Burt from Burt’s Backyards. She’s a national treasure, and I could totally see her sliding into a two-night-a-week job.

Lattouf!

Antoinette Lattouf, she’s an academic, smart and witty, and whenever she’s a guest on any show, she steals all the spotlight. I can totally see her bringing her debating A game to the programme, plus she’d bring the fashion.

Rowe

Jess Rowe stepped away from the television to focus on the kids, but they are getting older, and this was her perfect moment to return. Plus, she’s totally enhanced her brand again with her hit podcast!

Sheridan

Okay, wild card, maybe! But, Hugh Sheridan person can do it all. They sing, dance, and act and are always a fun interview. I could totally see them turning their hand to journalism and hitting it out of the park!

Sales

Okay, yes, she stepped away from 7.30 to spend more time with the kids, so maybe a two-week-a-day television gig could be a nice return. She’d completely hold her own, and she is a national treasure.

Okay, so there’s been no official word yet, on who will take on Wilkinson’s role, but here at B&T, we will dedicate our lives to finding out who will take over.
