TBWA\Melbourne and Eleven have won Emerald Foods and its stable of premium ice cream brands including New Zealand Natural, Mövenpick, Zilch and Killinchy Gold following two separate competitive pitch processes for both creative and public relations services.

The new wins will see TBWA\Melbourne engaged for its creative services across Australia and New Zealand – working across Emerald Food’s foundation brand, New Zealand Natural, to help launch NPDs in both markets.

Eleven has been appointed the brand’s public relations agency of record for both Australia and New Zealand. Eleven will provide creative PR services across all four brands in Emerald Foods stable: New Zealand Natural, Mövenpick, Zilch and Killinchy Gold.

The public relations remit will include cross-market communications strategy, media relations, influencer engagement and activations, with the responsibilities to be run from both its Melbourne and Auckland operations.

The partnership will also include media planning via co-located sister agency United (Omnicom Media Group).

Emerald Foods general manager sales & marketing Scott Koetsier said: “In seeking a new creative and PR agency, we were looking for partners who can help us transform, and ultimately drive our brands forward.

“TBWA and Eleven’s seamless integrated model showed us first-class thinking that will not only help build brand resonance, but also introduce us to new audiences across Australia and New Zealand.”

TBWA\Melbourne managing director Mike Napolitano said: “New Zealand Natural is an iconic dessert brand with a rich history that brings endless stories for us to tell – the partnership is a perfect fit. We’re incredibly excited to get straight into the work, and look forward to doing so as a collective alongside our sister agencies Eleven and United.”

Emerald Foods has been making and sharing some of New Zealand’s best-loved brands for more than 35 years. The company produces products for its grocery, foodservice and in-store parlour channels across Australia and New Zealand, as well as exporting to 30 countries across the world.
