A Sunrise reporter’s kind gesture has caused an awkward (but hilarious) tantrum by a young Ed Sheeran fan live on air.
Sam Mac was delivering his usual weather segment earlier this week at the Ed Sheeran pop-up store in Sydney, while a four-year-old fan impersonated the singer in the background.
However, when Sam Mac decided to give the young boy a free Ed Sheeran hat (by plonking it on his head), it didn’t go down so well.
Still, the Sunrise weather reporter was adamant on making sure the kid had the hat, hanging it on his mic stand which, unsurprisingly, the mini-Ed Sheeran fan took severe umbrage at.
