Realestate.com.au Unveils New Lifestyle Content Hub

For more than 20 years, realestate.com.au has helped Aussies find a house, but in 2017 it’s about helping them create a home.

‘Lifestyle’ is a brand-new content experience realestate.com.au, giving Australians the power to turn their property into the living space they’ve always dreamed of.

With over 30 per cent of Aussie property owners identifying themselves as property improvers interested in renovating and decorating, realestate.com.au/Lifestyle will deliver market-leading content to give people personal insights and inspiration about creating and styling a home.

Australians want to know how they can bring the inspiration they get from beautiful property shots to life in a way that suits their taste and budget. With realestate.com.au/Lifestyle, Australians will have access to aspirational content that helps them take action in an accessible and attainable way.

Lifestyle on realestate.com.au launches with over 720 informative and engaging articles, as well as six original video series created for home lifestyle lovers, including The Converted (a unique look into amazing property conversions) and Green Space (helping people make the most of their garden).

More than 200 pieces of new video content will be released across the next three months alongside more than 100 new bespoke articles a month. This content will be brought to life by an in-house content team, expert contributors and well-known lifestyle faces.

As part of Lifestyle, realestate.com.au has also launched new social media channels for the content hub on Facebook and Instagram.

With the latest reno trends and celebrity homes, right through to clearing the clutter or finding the ultimate sanctuary for your pooch, Lifestyle has all the insights, information and inspiration you need to create your forever home or your perfect space for right now.

Elizabeth Minogue, executive manager of media and marketing at realestate.com.au, said: “realestate.com.au has always been the best destination to help you find a house, but we have an important role to play in helping Australians create a home.

“We know that Australians are property obsessed, and decisions about property are some of the most important life choices we’ll ever make – they’re decisions we live with everyday, and reflect who we are and how we live our lives. Lifestyle on realestate.com.au will help Australians create a home to be proud of.

“With Lifestyle, we want to be there for all of life’s moments – from buying, renting and selling, to decorating your space and making it a place to live and to really love.”

This dedicated Lifestyle space follows the move of all digital property content from News Corp Australia’s major metro, regional and community publications now living at realestate.com.au/news.

To coincide with the launch of Lifestyle, realestate.com.au has also introduced an extension of its marketing campaign, positioning the brand as more than just a destination for property seekers.

The new-look campaign focuses on the entire property journey, highlighting that realestate.com.au extends well beyond for sale and rent listings, and into property inspiration and insights.

“Australians know and trust realestate.com.au to help them find their next house and the extension of our current campaign positions us as being there for all of life’s moments, at every stage of the property journey,” Minogue said.
