PureMoto Launches E-Platform Via North

Digital innovation studio North has teamed up with motorcycle retailer Pure Moto to create an e-platform for the brand.

North was tasked with the design of brand and product experience for the recently launched PureMoto, which aims to give motorcyclists a better way to discover and buy motorcycle products across motocross, off-road, street and track bike categories.

More than just a place to purchase, PureMoto.com, features a complete discovery and acquisition ecosystem, including a search engine, personalised content feed, consumer-generated content and local inventory search.

Visitors can browse thousands of items, tap into lively discussions, watch and read what is being said about products. Motorcyclists can explore more, find new things and buy in the easiest way for them, whether from the site or at their local store.

Sydney headquartered North also helped design the experience for the PureIRL Network that presents inventory available at local dealers on key industry websites right when nearby customers are looking to buy.

Chris Abbott, managing partner at North said: “The PureMoto site is much more than a place to buy motorcycle related products. Our brief was to develop a destination that provides motorcycling enthusiasts with real utility.

“We know that consumers often research products, particularly more expensive items, before they buy, so the site pulls in the best reviews and videos to ensure the buyer is as informed as possible. Other features such as the forum allow people to share information easily, all within the PureMoto platform.

“We also wanted to make it as easy as possible for riders to do what they love doing the best, and that’s be on their bikes, so the PureIRL Network enables them to rapidly locate products they see onsite in bricks and mortar stores near to them.

“Local stores can upload their inventory to plug their Dealer Management System into the PureIRL Network and start bringing more nearby buyers into store right away.”

PureMoto co-founder, Jim Matheson, said: “As an early-stage startup that is redefining commerce on the web in niche industries, pulling together a world-class team to articulate the vision in a fresh UX can be a challenge.

“North provided the perfect balance of deep strategic thinking and exceptional creative execution and we could not be happier with the results.”
