Perth Agency Firefly Adds Six New Accounts & Launches New Media Arm

Firefly has brought on six major new clients as it continues to expand, adding new media planning and buying arm to its business.

Managing Director Andrew Mathwin (pictured) said the independent agency, known for clients such as Air New Zealand, Buy West Eat Best, West Coast Eagles and Mrs Mac’s Pies, had a strong year putting it in a position to reinvest into new service offerings for clients.

Firefly recently won a national pitch for Melbourne based floor manufacturer Signature Floors, has been named the digital video/animation provider for Satterley Property Group, was selected by innovative solar window company ClearVue for a global awareness campaign, and is also undertaking long range strategy for government contracts.

“To complement our existing digital and creative services, Firefly is delighted to announce the launch of a new media planning and buying team to accompany our existing creative, strategy and digital experience people.

The team will be led by Anna Ambrossimova who was formerly the Carat/Dentsu Aegis Business Director for 12 years, where she worked on clients such as Tourism WA, Vivid Wireless, Brownes Dairy and Toyota.

“This combination of talent provides our clients with the combined power of media, creative ideas and digital expertise all under the one roof. A combination unlike anything else in Perth,” Mr Mathwin said.

“It’s not an easy feat to grow during a tumultuous time but what I’m most proud of is that during the height of COVID-19 in WA, we gave back to businesses who needed our help.

“In April we launched a $15,000 digital relief package for small to medium businesses around WA and across Australia to access in response to the severe impact COVID-19 had on business – we had an overwhelming response.”
