Pandora today announced it will host the next Pandora Session in Sydney on 23 September 2016 featuring one of Australia’s best bands, The Jezabels.

The invitation-only event for advertisers and media agencies will be hosted at Studio 301. Two hundred lucky guests will be treated to an intimate performance by four piece, indie rock artists, The Jezabels, as well as food, drinks and industry networking.

This will be the seventh Pandora Session for the Australian market, showcasing some of Australia’s best upcoming talent in a series of intimate music events.

Pandora commercial director Chris Freel said, “We’re thrilled to announce The Jezabels Pandora Session for Sydney. Our Session events showcase the talent and breadth of music the Pandora brand brings to its listeners.

“It’s a way we can reward clients and enable them to gain insight into the strength of the Pandora offering and our ability to connect brands with music, live music events and music-lovers.”

The Jezabels are one of Australia’s indie rock success stories, winning Rolling Stone’s ‘Record Of The Year’ in 2012, the Australian Music Prize in 2012, an ARIA Award for ‘Best Independent Release’ also in 2012 and Rolling Stone’s Single of the Year in 2014.

Previous Pandora Sessions have seen the likes of Methyl Ethel, Hockey Dad, Elizabeth Rose and Jungle Giants take to the stage in Sydney. Australian hip-hops finest, Urthboy performed the first ever ANZ Pandora Session that streamed on the Pandora Session Station in the US, and Gabriella Cohen launched Melbourne’s first Session in August.

With more than 80 live events each year in the US, Pandora is also bringing its party throwing expertise to Australia for listeners. Pandora is renowned for its events across the US, including the Pandora Discovery Den at SXSW (Austin), Pandora Holiday (NYC) and Pandora’s biggest event, the legendary Summer Crush (LA).
