There’s nothing too sexy of fun about printer cartridges, so it’s definitely hats off to Brother and its creative agency for a series of new work that also provides a fun poke at mundane office life.
Called the “Cartridge Family”, the five spots actually bear no resemblance to the 70s TV show of a very similar name (for those old enough to remember.)
The laughs come courtesy of creative agency WE Communications and production house Wild Factory and star social influencers Maya Murillo, Landon Moss, Ceara Jane O’Sullivan and Kara Morgan all clothed in Brother’s printer ink pigments of cyan, magenta, yellow and black.
Commenting on the work, Brother’s senior director of product, Eric Dahl, said: “We were inspired by the current trend on social media of sharing relatable commentary on workplace pain points and wanted to bring this to life through a retro, yet modern spin on the workplace sitcom.
“Many people of all demographics are experiencing what a return to the office is like, and we hope they find these engaging and provide a positive impression for our brand,” Dahl Said.
