Clemenger Melbourne has used a new campaign for the Ford Puma to highlight the merits of the vehicle while having a play at advertising clichés used in car ads.
The spot – for the rather sporty looking Puma – starts with the usual good looking couple in a smart city street.
However, it all comes peeling away, as the ad’s shown to be shot in a studio against green screens with a “world renowned music track” and a “fancy voice over”.
As clever as it is, it might do little to instal car buyers’ faith in the honesty of car commercials. Check it out below:
