As the higher education sector faces an onset of new challenges caused by COVID-19 restrictions and workforce demands, Australia’s largest private education provider Navitas is using Adobe Experience Cloud to redefine the educational journey for domestic and international students in Australia.

An early adopter of Adobe Marketo Engage 10 years ago, the education company’s long history of innovation and success comes from its pioneering spirit. Since 1994, when Navitas developed the first university pathway program in Perth, Australia, Navitas has been a trail blazer in increasing access to tertiary education. Today, Navitas partners with over 30 universities globally to help them grow strong and diverse student populations.

The use of Adobe Marketo Engage for long-tail nurturing of students and education agents, who help students navigate visa and academic applications, has driven the most success to date.

Now, Navitas will add a new set of marketing technologies on Adobe Experience Cloud – Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target and Adobe Experience Manager – to its digital transformation toolkit to create more impactful and tailored customer experiences.

“Adobe offers the ability for us to personalise every step of a student’s journey, from the second they arrive on our website through to their graduation,” said Scott Jones, Navitas’ Group CEO.

“Providing a richer, more tailored educational journey is fundamental to our DNA. Adobe Experience Cloud applications enable us to do that in a modern, digital way.”

The COVID-19 disruptions to the flow of new international students in Australia has necessitated the need for educators to deliver collaborative, flexible and engaging online and blended learning to students.

The Navitas flexible delivery model allows students to choose when, where and how they engage with their learning. The insights provided by Adobe Experience Cloud will enable Navitas to customise the student journey further and deliver a personalised experience for each student based on the way they choose to learn.

As Navitas continues to diversify its international student base, the company will also replace its three different content management systems to create a more unified approach for delivering relevant and quality information to students around the world.

Powered by Adobe Sensei, students can enter keywords in any language and the machine learning algorithm will instantly translate, search all language libraries and return all matching assets.

The new website and digital marketing capabilities will also help Navitas to better showcase its pathway program with partner universities in Australia to improve the student experience and aid retention.

Navitas has longstanding transformation partnerships with leading universities across Australia including Western Sydney University, Curtin University, Deakin University, La Trobe University, Griffith University and more.

“Navitas has been redefining the tertiary educational journey for decades,” said Suzanne Steele, vice president and managing director of Adobe ANZ.

“We’re excited to continue to support their vision to create new learning possibilities for the next generation of students, with the power of the Adobe Experience Cloud.”
