Adidas has partnered with MTV Australia to produce a mini-series featuring young Aussie influencers sharing their health and fitness journeys, and it’s called MTV Fit Sessions.

The series is available on MTV Fit, MTV’s digital home of health, fitness and nutrition, and will feature short highlights on-air across MTV each month.

MTV Fit Sessions provides insight into the healthy lifestyles of influencers across modelling, music and sport, including their personal tips, tricks and daily exercise routines. The series also delves into their unique stories of success, challenges and inspirations wrapped up into three to four minute documentary style episodes.

“MTV Fit Sessions highlights some of Australia’s best talent from the fitness, sporting and arts industries,” Adidas Pacific GM Steve Castledine said.

“Adidas are proud to be partnering with MTV in bringing this production to life, showcasing each individuals’ personal journey, in the hopes of inspiring young Australians to start their own.”

The Adidas and MTV partnership will run over 12 months with two MTV Fit Sessions episodes being produced in-house by MTV Australia’s digital production team per month.

The campaign will also be supported by monthly editorial articles alongside the videos on MTV Fit. Off the back of record breaking growth on mtv.com.au, MTV Australia is investing in expanding the local digital production and editorial departments to create more content, such as MTV Fit Sessions, on topics that the Australian youth are passionate about.

“Our research shows us that the Australian youth are more concerned with health and fitness than ever before” Said Vanessa Zuppicich, MTV Australia creative director.

“We’re excited to partner with Adidas and team up with Aussie influencers to provide young Australians with the education and motivation they need to stay fit and healthy.”

The 12 part series kicks off with fitness social media superstar, Kayla Itsines, and Australian athlete, Morgan Mitchell, with more to be announced throughout the year.

In MTV Fit Sessions, Itsines explains how she went from a simple vision of wanting to help women achieve their fitness goals, to creating a fitness movement motivating millions of women around the world.

Morgan will then educate the audience on the physical training that it takes to maintain the elite level of fitness required to compete as a professional athlete for Australia. She also opens up about the positive and negative effects that competing has had on her life and the sacrifices she has had to make to continue to perform at a such a high level.
