A team of APN Outdoor’s key agency clients embarked on the ultimate Site Tour last week, teaming up with a representative of the out-of-home player in an Amazing Race-style challenge across Melbourne.
Over a period of three hours, the teams battled to the finish line, travelling over 40 kilometres and visiting more than 35 of APN Outdoor’s impressive static, digital and rail advertising sites.
The questions were a mix of APN Outdoor-based knowledge and cryptic clues, with some challenge components even appearing on the sites themselves, including the prized Young & Jackson digital billboard on Swanston Street.
The company’s iconic transit format also featured, earning teams extra points when spotted on the road.
After a tough competition of mental and physical challenges, Mindshare was announced as the winning team on the day.
APN Outdoor’s Melbourne sales director, Daniel McConochie, said: “Thank you to all the teams that participated in the challenge on this beautiful Melbourne day.
“A huge congratulations to Lucy Porter and her winning Mindshare team ‘Sharing of the Minds’.
“The feedback has been fantastic, and we hope this ultimate site tour style is a fresh new way for clients to learn more and be exposed to the quality of our sites and footprint.”
The challenge will be held in Sydney on Tuesday.
