Maurice Blackburn Lawyers have appointed independent digital agency Half Dome (HDD) to manage their SEM account following a competitive four-way pitch.
The win allows HDD to consolidate all planning and buying of Maurice Blackburn’s paid media after partnering with Consumedia to win the wider account in April last year.
The move made sense to Maurice Blackburn general manager of marketing and communications, Toni Wilson (featured image).
Wilson commented: “Maurice Blackburn was seeking an agency which could bring a fresh approach to our SEM strategy and offer a high level of analysis to continue to build our digital presence.
“I’m very pleased to have found the approach needed with our existing digital media agency.”
The account will be led by Half Dome’s head of search and social, Rhett Mitchelhill, who sees more and more clients realising the huge upside in consolidating their paid media under one roof.
Mitchelhill explains: “it allows for better cross-channel optimisation, reporting, and proper integration of tech platforms.”
The win marks an exciting month for the independent digital agency who has also recently appointed Jackie King to the role of head of client service.
King brings a wealth of knowledge with 14 years of experience in the industry working across major client patches in both Melbourne and New York.
King said: “I’m very excited to be joining Half Dome and to be working with such brilliant individuals.
“My passion for client service and operations will be best placed for the exciting challenges ahead, driving half dome into the next phase of growth.”
King comes across from Carat where she was the digital director on the Disney account.
