Marina Go Takes The Reins of Hearst Bauer Media Brands

Matthew Stanton, CEO of Bauer Media, today announced the appointment of Marina Go as General Manager of the Hearst Bauer Media brands, a joint venture between Bauer Media and Hearst Magazines International.

The joint venture brands include ELLE Australia, Harper’s BAZAAR and Cosmopolitan. Ms Go will start in her new role on September 22, and will report to Mr. Stanton.

A senior publishing executive with 25+ years’ experience, Ms Go is currently CEO of Private Media, a digital publishing company whose brands include Crikey, Smart Company and Women’s Agenda, which Ms Go launched in 2012.

Previous positions held include Group Publisher at Independent Digital Media; Publishing Director at EMAP; General Manager, Magazines at Fairfax Media; Group Publisher & Editor-in-Chief at Pacific Publications, and Editor-in-Chief & Publisher at Hachette Filipacchi Media Australia.

Mr Stanton said: “Marina has a track record of success and deep understanding across print and digital publishing, as well as an extensive knowledge of best-in-class business practices, all of which will further elevate our brands on every platform, she’s creative, strategic, and I look forward to working with her.”
