Marie Claire Partners With LEXUS For Beauty Awards

Women’s lifestyle and fashion brand marie claire, has announced it will partner with luxury automotive brand LEXUS to deliver the 2015 Prix de marie claire Awards.

Held every two years, the awards are a highly anticipated date on the Australian fashion and beauty calendar and celebrate the best and brightest names and brands in the industry. This year, the awards will be held on Tuesday April 21, 2015, at Sound Stage 7, Fox Studios, in Sydney.

Jackie Frank, marie claire group publisher, commented: “This is the 10th anniversary of the Prix de marie claire Awards and we are thrilled to partner with LEXUS. These awards mark the beginning of a very exciting year ahead for the marie claire brand, culminating in a milestone 20th birthday to be celebrated later this year.

“Prix de marie claire truly celebrates the nation’s very best in fashion and beauty, acknowledging well- established names within the industry while also recognising emerging brands and new launches in the past 12 months.

“We are very excited to be joined by LEXUS, who have a similar and dynamic brand ideology to marie claire to inspire, surprise and engage their customers. The event is always beautiful and full of unexpected elements, so the inaugural partnership is a natural affiliation.”

Sean Hanley, LEXUSAustralia chief executive, added: “At LEXUS we strive for innovation and revolutionary design, which set the tone for our bold new design direction.

“Our presence at world-class events also reflects the sophisticated luxury we provide to each and every customer, and our exciting partnership with marie claire perfectly aligns with that approach.”

Presenting partner LEXUS will be joined by beauty category partner Myer, and supporting partner Swarovski.

A total of 36 awards will be announced across the fields of fashion and beauty, with 10 beauty awards judged by an international marie claire panel and 10 fashion awards judged by Jackie Frank and the marie claire fashion team, while a remaining 16 fashion and beauty awards will be determined by marie claire readers.
