Rombii, a digital and marketing services agency, has announced the appointment of Marcus Wilkinson as managing director for Australia and the APAC region.
Wilkinson, who was previously senior VP at IDG Communications, will take responsibility for the day to day management and direction of Rombii, working alongside the founder Sam Howell. He will be based in Sydney.
Rombii takes a channel agnostic and sophisticated approach to creating connections via hyper targeted brand awareness, thought leadership content programmes and conversational lead generation, helping its clients to intelligently connect with customers to build new and nurture existing relationships.
The company has taken advantage of the considerable changes in the always-on, multi-channel and consumer-centric media and B2B publishing landscape to expand the range of solutions it offers marketers to help identify and engage with customers. Its clients include Microsoft, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, IBM, Dell, Cisco, EMC, Oracle; and HP Inc.

Wilkinson brings over 15 years experience in the B2B tech industry having previously worked at IDG, the world’s largest tech publisher, driving digital innovation and delivering successful results over the years. Before joining Rombii earlier this year, Wilkinson was the senior vice president for marketing services and demand generation at IDG, providing strategic leadership and operational support on a global, regional and local level in two of the most important areas of revenue and growth for IDG worldwide.
