Independent advertising and branding agency March One has been appointed to oversee the rebrand and repositioning of Fundraising Institute Australia (FIA).
FIA is the national peak body representing professional fundraising in Australia. It was established to advance advocacy and professional standards, and has identified the need to better promote its role as the industry self-regulator, enhance the experience and connection with individuals. and align with organisations through its membership base.
Rob Edwards, chief executive of FIA, said: “We appointed March One for this significant project because they have a brand process that is inclusive of all stakeholders. What’s more, they bring solid experience in both commercial brand development and fundraising.”
March One co-owner and director Greg Bechly said the agency is thrilled to be collaborating with the industry body that shares the vision of improving the quality and outcomes of fundraising in Australia.
“This is an important moment for March One and our human-centred fundraising approach, as the entire fundraising industry will be witness to the brand we develop with FIA.”
March One co-owner and creative director Ben Coverdale said that of all the brands the agency has helped build over the years, the opportunity work with FIA is a highlight.
“It means we can help the industry evolve and transform to meet an ever-changing landscape,” he said.
FIA’s rebrand is currently under way and will be completed for its annual membership renewal campaign later in 2018.
