A fictional billboard that appeared in the new Lady Gaga/Bradley Cooper film A Star Is Born has been turned into a witty meme for the LGBTQI+ Community.
The romantic drama centres around two fledgling musicians who find fame. As part of the film’s plot, Gaga’s character, Ally, lands her very own billboard in Los Angeles.
Coincidentally, “ally” also means a straight person who supports the gay community.
It didn’t take long for LGBTQI+ community to notice the image and turn the billboard into a meme, and take to Twitter to highlight humorous examples of “allyship”.
