KFC Offers Poultry At Paltry Prices To Lefties

KFC Offers Poultry At Paltry Prices To Lefties

KFC Australia has launched a quirky left-handed campaign with some items available for a limited time for as little as 50c and $1.

In the 80s KFC proclaimed “We Do Chicken Right” and, apparently, everyone in the TV spot was using their right hands to eat devour the chicken. But, feeling a pang of guilt towards lefties, the fast food joint has launched a new campaign to celebrate left-handed eaters, who make up 11 per cent of the population.

To facilitate the leftie love-in, KFC is cutting its poultry prices over the next 11 days. In order to get their hands left hands on the discount chicken, users will need to head to the KFC App at 1pm AEDT to be in with a chance of being one of 11,000 lucky lefties.

Zinger burgers are available for $1 on Thursday 20 October and the deals will continue for the next 10 days, including $1 Popcorn Chicken and $1 Twisters.

“At KFC, we believe everyone has a seat at the table, and no one should be left out, but we’ll admit that we’ve been guilty of unknowingly favouring the right-handers over the years. So, we’re thrilled to be launching the world’s first Left-Handed KFC to make sure no one gets left out,” said Sally Springs, CMO at KFC Australia.

“To make the most of our new Left-Handed Menu, fans need to jump on the KFC App over the next 11 days to discover which of their favourite feeds we’ll be offering at unbelievable prices. And, while we won’t turn any right-handers away, we recommend using your left hand for the finest eating experience.”
