“Just Shut The F@ck Up!” Cream Of Aussie Media Star In Riotous Video Begging Lockdowners Not To Start A Podcast

As a quick perusal of B&T’s inbox each morning would attest, it would appear many people in adland are penning “work from home” opinion pieces or, heaven forbid, starting a podcast.

And now a group of some of Australia’s best-known media faces have come together to implore Aussies to abandon the idea of making terrible podcasts.

A gloriously funny – and decidedly sweary – video appeared on ABC’s ivew Facebook page overnight called “A message to all Australians – don’t start a podcast”.

And it’s a credit to whoever put the hilarious video together because they have managed to lean on some of the biggest names in Australian media.

The cast is headed by none other than the wonderful Leigh Sales and also includes such names as Osher Günsberg, actor Deborah Mailman, media personality Jennifer Byrne, celebrity chef Adam Liaw, TV chef Matt Moran, Nova’s Ryan “Fitzy” Fitzgerald, muso G Flip, and newspaper columnist, contrarian and pain-in-the-arse, Peter FitzSimons.

Check out this important public service announcement below; however, B&T does warn it does contain some rather fruity language. Enjoy and please, heed the warning…
