IAA Young Professionals Host Free Virtual Speed Mentoring Afternoon

The IAA’s Young Professionals Australia chapter are launching their first virtual speed mentoring event aimed at providing young professionals the opportunity to connect and network with industry leaders during COVID times.

Aman Gupta, IAA Young Professionals Australia Chapter, Vice President said: “The IAA Young Professionals want to inspire the younger generation of marketing professionals to continue networking during this time of lockdown. This opportunity to listen and learn from local and global industry leaders in an intimate small group session is rare. We look forward to hearing from our mentors in this speedy format of virtual mentoring.”

Mentors for the free event include:

Sasan Saeidi, Global Client Leader – Nestlé at WundermanThompson/WPP
Prior to his current role, Sasan has also held management roles with agencies such as McCann FP7, BBDO; Saatchi & Saatchi Canada and FCB Canada.

Jasmine Lansdell, Partner – People and Culture at The Works
Jasmine oversees people, culture and operations across The Works and content production arm, Daresay. Part of the senior leadership team she leads The Works’ ‘people first’ approach, putting employee experience at the top of the HR agenda.

Dan Richardson, Head of Data at Verizon Media
Dan is an expert in translating data into a captivating narrative. Working closely with brands, vendors and key agency partners, he holds invaluable experience in developing audience insights, segmentation, testing and implementation strategies. He’s currently co-chair of the IAB Australia’s Data Council, leading the organisation’s data transparency initiatives, and serves on the IAB New Zealand Standards and Measurement Council.

Simon Cheng, CMO at Menulog
Simon joined Menulog as Marketing Director in 2019, responsible for driving the customer and marketing strategy to achieve the business’ ambitious growth plans and reclaim the number one position in the market. He has more than 15 years’ experience leading teams in highly dynamic growth environments across multiple sectors.

The event will run on Tuesday 29th September at 4:00pm AEST and held virtually using Zoom.
