Hungry Jack’s and WARHEADS have teamed up to ensure the summer market winces and sucks in its cheeks with the release of new WARHEADS Sour Bursties Frozen Drinks range.

The deliciously diabolical team-up follows the burger chain’s successful 2019 launch of frozen beverage Bursties. This time, however, instead of customers tasting bursts of juicy fruit, their mouths will be enveloped by the flavours of iconic sour lolly brand, WARHEADS.

Hungry Jacks will be challenging Aussies throughout the summer to “survive the sour” by sharing pranks and blind reactions of themselves or others to social media with the hashtag #SurviveTheSour. Whether that means challenging your friends or tricking the unsuspecting, the burger chain is keen to see Aussies take on the new flavours.

“Hungry Jack’s is at the forefront of innovation when it comes to creating new and exciting products that Australia is calling out for,” said Hungry Jack’s chief marketing officer, Scott Baird,

“This is no different – we wanted to create a sensory experience that is unlike anything else available on the market.”

Hungry Jack’s WARHEADS Sour Bursties in Frozen Sour Drinks will come with Sour Watermelon Bursties, and Green Apple Bursties, and will be available in both Sour Grape and Sour Watermelon Frozen Drink flavours.

“We couldn’t be more excited to have collaborated with one of Australia’s favourite confectionary brands, and the most reputable sour experts to develop the new WARHEADS Sour Bursties that are available exclusively for Hungry Jack’s fans,” added Baird.

“We think Australia is set to be taken on a taste adventure navigating uncharted sour territory, and we can’t wait to see their reaction.”

The new range of sour drinks is available nationwide from today.
