Adelaide-based creative agency KWP! brings more than one hundred volunteers together in an onscreen battle against life threatening diseases for the sequel to The Hospital Research Foundation (THRF) Group’s ‘Together Fight’ campaign.

Two 30-second TVC’s feature the return of ‘The Beast’, who comes up against a young patient and army of real-life patients, researchers, staff and supporters.

Together they fight ‘The Beast’, throwing invisible punches created by special effects.

“It’s now more than ever that we need the community in our corner to take on the deadly enemies such as cancer, stroke and heart disease”, THRF Group’s chief executive, Paul Flynn, said in a statement.

“The next chapter of the campaign reflects the immense growth of the organisation with 11 charities now under our umbrella, fighting for over 50 areas of medical research and patient care.

“We’re extremely proud to work with one of Adelaide’s leading agencies to release the new creative ads showcasing that our fight is far from over. It’s now more than ever that we need the community in our corner to take on the deadly enemies such as cancer, stroke and heart disease.”

KWP! chief executive David O’Loughlin added: ”This new work builds on what we started with the first ‘Together. Fight.’ campaign.

“It focusses on the extraordinary, everyday people behind the fight and the impact being made.

“Sequels are often challenging, we wanted to make sure that the evolved message of this new campaign could be delivered with the same, or more impact, as the original work.

With the support of a committed and progressive client, I think we have managed to do just that.”

The campaign features cutdown 15-second campaigns, large format OOH, street furniture, a boxing ring activation in Glenelg, a series of six-second bumper videos and multiple digital display assets including homepage takeovers.
