Heinz is giving AFL fans the opportunity to connect with their favourite team in a new way, launching limited edition ‘footy ketchup’ bottles for the 2021 season.

18 AFL club themed bottles, representing every team vying for this year’s Premiership Cup, have been available since Wednesday, 7 April at Coles stores nationally. However, fans will need to be quick off the mark as these bottles will be available for a limited time only.

The bottle designs will inspire nostalgia in fans across the states, featuring iconic 90’s club mascots from Tiger “Stripes” Dyer from the Richmond Tigers, to “Slammin” Sam Tomcat from the Geelong Cats and Rick “The Rock” Eagle from the West Coast Eagles.

Exclusive merchandise bundles for all 18 teams will also be available via the Heinz To Home™ e-store including:

  • Drop Punt Bundle, which includes a Heinz® AFL team ketchup bottle and a team scarf.
  • Specky Bundle, which includes a Heinz® AFL team ketchup bottle, a team beanie & team socks.

Pricing ranges between $25.00 to $28.00 a bundle, excluding delivery fees.

Shane Kent, Chief Marketing Executive Officer, Heinz Australia says: “We’re giving consumers the opportunity to collect their team’s limited-edition Heinz® Tomato Ketchup from Coles.”

“We’re excited to give Australians a fun way to show support for their favourite team! Pies and sausage rolls are some of the nation’s favourite footy foods and nothing pairs better than Heinz® Tomato Ketchup. We’re proud to have created iconic bottles that help celebrate this” added Kent.

The single limited-edition AFL club Heinz® Tomato Ketchup bottles are a Coles in-store exclusive, available nationally from Wednesday, 7 April 2021 for $3.20 RRP, while stocks last. They will also be made available on the Heinz to Home™ e-store, as part of wider bundles.
