Hardhat Takes Off With Tigerair’s Creative

Fast-growing creative agency Hardhat has been awarded Tigerair Australia’s ‘brand strategy and creative services’ account, following a competitive pitch process.

Tigerair Australia, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Virgin Australia Group, operates a low-cost carrier airline service across 21 domestic routes and out of 12 destinations around Australia, employing more than 1,100 people.

Since its launch in 2007, the airline has flown well over 30 million passengers.

The win will see Hardhat lead the charge on all of Tigerair’s integrated marketing efforts, including brand, creative and customer communications.

Tigerair Australia’s Hope Antzoulatos said: “Tigerair Australia is extremely excited to be working with the brilliant creative talent at Hardhat who have proven success in delivering truly customer-centric and data-driven creative.”

“As a disruptor in the airline industry, innovation based on insights is at the core of our DNA, and as an extension of our team Hardhat understands our passion for affordable travel and connecting people with genuine experiences.”

Hardhat co-founder Dan Monheit added: “We couldn’t be more thrilled. As an agency, we’re committed to building brands on behaviour.

“Tigerair, with its ‘challenger brand’ mentality, sharp leadership and passionate team, gives us an incredible opportunity to do just that.”

Hardhat was founded in 2005 by Dan Monheit and Justin Kabbani.

The agency, now 40 strong, builds brands through a combination of creativity and behavioural insights. Hardhat clients include Bupa, Deakin University, Tennis Australia and Lion Dairy and Drinks.
