InStyle Ed Appointed Editor-In-Chief For Qantas Publications

Medium Rare Content Agency is pleased to announce that Kirsten Galliott will be joining the company as editor-in-chief of Qantas’ print and digital publications and Travel Insider website.

Medium Rare was awarded the contract to supply publishing services to Qantas on March 2. The first issues of the new contract will be July 2015.

Galliott is a senior media executive with more than 20 years’ experience in magazines, newspapers and digital media as well as television and radio. She has a proven track record of relaunching magazines and building commercially successful brands.

A highly skilled journalist, Galliott has overseen a range of leading lifestyle titles, including six years as the editor of the (Sydney) magazine, editor of Sunday Life magazine and, most recently, editor of InStyle Australia, where she grew the title’s readership, increased its social media footprint and relaunched the brand’s website.

About the appointment, Gerry Reynolds, managing director of Medium Rare, said: “Kirsten brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role.
