Dentsu Aegis Network Australia and New Zealand (DAN) has poached comparison website iSelect executive Angela Tangas (left in photo) as managing director of its media agency, dentsu X.
Tangas will take up her new role on March the 5th and will report directly to DAN CEO, Simon Ryan (right in photo).
Dentsu X was the former Dentsu Mitchell agency that was rebranded last November.
Tangas joins dentsu X from iSelect, where she has held the Leadership Team position of Group Executive – Energy & Telco industry since 2015.
In her new role, Tangas will be responsible for the continued growth and evolution of dentsu X, following its launch to the Australian market in November 2017, and commitment to deliver ‘Experience over Exposure’.

Tangas takes over from Adrian Roeling, who became President, Amplifi ANZ in November 2017. She will commence in the role on Monday 5 March. In the interim, Corina Cosma (general manager, Melbourne) and Lyndall Black (general manager, government services) will continue joint leadership of dentsu X, while Simon Ryan maintains executive responsibility.
