Dentsu Aegis Network Rebrands Mitchells, Launches Dentsu Mitchell

In Australia, Dentsu Mitchell will be led by chief executive officer, Kenny Stewart and managing director, Adrian Roeling.

The rebrand takes effect immediately in Australia and will involve Mitchells’ four offices in Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney and Perth. Dentsu Mitchell will number over 110 staff nationally. Globally, Dentsu Media operates in 15 markets with 24 offices across Asia, Russia, Northern America and now Australia.

With the launch of Dentsu Mitchell, clients will benefit from the leading strategic and technological approach that Dentsu offers its clients in the region as well as increased opportunities to extend their marketing reach out into the Asia Pacific region. Existing clients of Dentsu Media will have an enhanced ability to provide clients with regional strategy from Australia.

Dentsu Aegis Network ANZ CEO Luke Littlefield said, “Mitchells’ strong brand heritage and significant success in this market is the perfect platform from which to launch the Dentsu Media brand in Australia and we are very much looking forward to continuing to grow the business under the Dentsu Mitchell name and to bring the benefits of this connection to our clients. The launch of Dentsu Mitchell in Australia is a great evolution of the Mitchells brand and for the Dentsu Aegis Network more broadly as we continue to align our operations and focus on the establishment and growth of prominent global brands.”

Hiroaki Charlie Sano executive officer of Dentsu Inc. and CEO of Dentsu Media and Dentsu branded agencies within Dentsu Aegis Network said, “The rebrand of Mitchell & Partners to Dentsu Mitchell Media marks the further growth of Dentsu Media in Asia Pacific. Bringing together one of the top media brands in Australia and Japan’s leading media brand is an exciting development. Mitchells’ existing teams in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra and Perth will remain in their current office locations.
