While the Baywatch limelight is now firmly off “The Hoff” thanks to Hollywood hunks Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Zac Efron, the actor who put red boardies on the map has found himself starring in a rather peculiar commercial for a US casino.
Playing the mayor of ‘Funner, California’, David Hasselhoff shows off “a magical place – a place where fun meets something funner”.

That place also happens to be the home of Harra’s Resort Southern California, which has gone so far as changing its location on Google Maps and TripAdvisor to ‘Funner, California’ for the campaign, according to Adweek.
With the help of San Diego agency i.d.e.a., the casino has added to the façade by creating a website for Funner, along with video testimonials by visitors of the fantasy location (see below).
The campaign also includes print, radio, digital, social, and out-of-home components, including roadside signs marking the distance to Funner, Adweek noted.
