Cummins&Partners has poached Sophie Lander who was BWMIsobar GM in Sydney, part of dentsu creative, B&T can reveal.
Sources within Cummins&Partners told B&T that Sean Cummins made the announcement internally earlier this week that Lander would be taking the role of Managing Director within his creative agency.
B&T reached out to Lander directly who confirmed the news.
Kirsty Muddle, CEO of dentsu creative also confirmed the news to B&T and said: “We are very thankful for Sophie’s wonderful efforts and are proud and happy for her.”
The news comes as rumours reached B&T that dentsu was going to continue its program of reform with further global restructuring expected to be announced at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity in two weeks time.
Lander’s former agency was part of an already merged when dentsu folded the digital experience agency Isobar’s creative team into BWM and its customer experience practice under the Merkle brand.
