Connecting Plots Appoints Alexa Burchell and Bonnie Ledsam As New Senior Hires

Creative communications agency Connecting Plots has welcomed two new senior hires to the team.

Alexa Burchell (pictured, right) joins as art director, while Bonnie Ledsam (pictured, left) takes on the role of senior integrated producer and studio manager.

The appointments follow a significant period of growth for the independent agency. It also follows a string of key new business wins for the agency, which will be announced soon.

Burchell has worked in a variety of agencies and roles throughout her career, including most recently as creative designer at Isobar. She has worked on major clients such as Hendricks, Mentos, Monkey Shoulder, PayPal, and Smiths.

As the agency’s art director, Burchell will be working closely with the recently appointed creative director, Chris Johnson.

On her appointment, Burchell said in a statement: “I had heard about Connecting Plots and it’s amazing leaders Dave Jansen and Tom Phillips. I also knew how rapidly the agency was growing and it’s exceptional capabilities and resources.

“I’m very excited to join such a forward-thinking, innovative agency and I can’t wait to get stuck in with Chris and his team and make some career-defining work.”

Ledsam joins Connecting Plots as senior integrated producer and studio manager. She most recently spent two years at Qantas as its creative operations manager. Prior to that, she spent five years at BWM Dentsu working with leading clients such as Qantas, nbn, Ferrero, and Maserati.

“I’m thrilled to join Connecting Plots and its sister production company Infinity Squared,” Ledsam said in a statement.

“The studio and production teams here are an incredibly talented bunch and always one step ahead when it comes to the latest tech innovation and emerging channels. The work they produce is consistently impressive, progressive and worthy of being talked about.

Connecting Plots MD Tom Phillips said he was delighted to welcome these two senior hires to the team as the agency continues to grow its client portfolio.
