B2B specialist communications consultancy Clear Hayes has welcomed two new hires following recent client wins across the ANZ region.

The new recruits include communications consultant and public relations specialist Annie Standen (pictured above). After eight years working in New Zealand, Standen has been brought on to develop and implement PR strategy and manage day-to-day media relations for a range of clients.

Standen joins the specialist B2B agency after four years as a publicist with Lily & Louis PR in Auckland, as well as running her own consultancy. She has also held in-house roles with Royal Caribbean Cruises and Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development.

In addition, Akansha Singh (pictured below) joins the editorial team as content strategist from her previous role as senior executive at media intelligence platform, Telum Media.

The new recruits join at a time of rapid expansion for the agency. Clear Hayes set up shop in New Zealand in July and has since added media agency group Kaimera to its roster as well as a number of expanded remits with existing clients including Facebook and Outbrain.

Annie Standen said of her appointment: “I’m excited to be jumping back into the media and marketing industry here in Australia with an innovative and progressive business like Clear Hayes. I’ve always prided myself on my pragmatic approach towards developing and delivering out-of-the-box PR campaigns and I’m thrilled to now champion this across our impressive client roster.”

Clear Hayes principal Alex Hayes added: “We’re delighted to welcome both Annie and Akansha on board to bolster our growing team here at Clear Hayes Consulting. Both are incredibly talented and smart operators who bring a high level of expertise and experience and are already delivering creative, interesting and highly effective solutions to our clients.

“It’s an incredibly exciting time for the media and marketing industry as we enter a new era after an extremely challenging couple of years. We’re here to create new connections and open up opportunities and markets for our clients across the APAC region.”
