Iconic Australian retailer, Clark Rubber, best known for being a one-stop shop for all things pools, foam, and rubber, is celebrating its 75th Birthday by inviting all Australians to get involved for a chance to win some amazing prizes.
To mark this huge milestone, Clark Rubber customers have the chance to win a pool a week. Furthermore, one lucky person will also win a retro caravan, renovated by Retro Caravan Renovations and valued at $40,000, so they can travel in luxury and style on all their future camping adventures.
Over the weekend Clark Rubber held community BBQ’s across the country and on Sunday 21 November hosted a morning of celebrations at their Nunawading, Victoria store, which included a life size pool erected for swimming and swim safety lessons, a pool giveaway.
Channel Nine’s Weekend Today show also covered the event with Lauren Phillips live reporting the weather throughout the morning.
Anthony Grice, CEO, Clark Rubber says: “Over the past 75 years Clark Rubber has grown from a small Aussie retailer into one of Australia’s most well-known, trusted and intergenerational brands. Not only have they been serving Australians for the past 75 years but we have also provided an opportunity for many people to own and run their own small business through our franchising network.
“We have recently re-opened our stores again across the country and we are expecting a very strong Summer of sales as Australians look to entertain in their own homes and backyards, with pools and spas a must have item.
“A big part of our celebrations is saying thank you to all those who have supported us along the way. We have some amazing giveaways available throughout summer including a pool a week, along with a fully restored, retro caravan, that will be the envy of any camp site.”
Since the Clark Rubber business took on new ownership just over a year ago it has transformed seven sites to new company stores, and earmarked a further 20 greenfield sites, with substantial interest from individuals looking to buy into the brand and start their own business.
Clark Rubber’s highly successful ‘Premium Territory’ Pool & Spa service vans have also achieved extraordinary success during the pandemic and as a result Clark Rubber has slashed $30,000 off their franchise entry fees, paving the way for more everyday Australians to start a business that gives them the financial control and flexibility they’re craving after COVID-19.
